Ok, so what do you need to do to accomplish all this? All you need is a little self-discipline and don’t forget to set a goal (try to be realistic). Why do you have to be realistic? Well…if a diet plan sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
So what’s the secret to weight loss?
Real Fast Food
Sometimes life gets busy and we don’t have time to cook or prepare a delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner, so we’re looking for something quick to eat. The question is: What’s something fast to eat? The original fast food is not when you order a takeaway or a hamburger from McDonalds.
Let me show you what the real fast food looks like! Exactly, fruits and vegetables are the answer!
Do I really need to exercise?
Well…what do you think? You already know the answer to this question. Even if fitness means 70% diet and 30% exercise, you still have to workout. For example, if you burn 500 more calories than you eat every day for a week, you might lose about 1-2 pounds. Sounds great, isn’t it? But you can’t burn so many calories if you don’t exercise, plus you need to eat less! Train like a beast, look like a beauty. I feel so proud of myself after a workout and you should feel the same. Prove to yourself that you can do anything! Don’t forget that, 10 minutes of workout is better than sitting at home and surfing the Internet.
What are the dangers of not eating enough?
If you skip meals in order to save calories, it can end up working against you. When you are not eating enough, you lose fat but also precious muscle. This will slow your metabolism and you won’t be able to workout as before. To avoid slowing down the metabolism when losing weight, try to have regular meals and eat healthy.
Why am I not losing weight?
Maybe you are eating healthy food and exercise every day, but you are still not losing weight. Why? What are you doing wrong? Well it might be that the healthy food you’re eating might not be as healthy as you think it is. You have to focus on eating whole foods, for example: fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Low calorie and low fat foods have tons of preservatives and sugar! You don’t want to eat that. Some foods sound healthy, but aren’t, we might think that we’re eating healthy but they’re filled with unwanted ingredients. Fat-free doesn’t mean calorie-free. Your portion size is important! We need to learn what a normal serving size of food looks like.
We love food but if you want to lose weight, then now it’s the time to measure your portions and make sure that you keep track of how much you eat. Also, make sure to eat regular and not when you’re bored. When you don’t sleep well you can gain weight! Make sure that you get your eight hours of sleep every night. When we don’t get enough sleep, it can affect our ability to control our appetite. When you sleep, you allow your body to rest, recover and grow stronger!
Ladies, now that I have your attention, let me tell you that drinking eight glasses of water (daily) is really important! Start by making little changes. Don’t confuse thirst with hunger. I’m sure that you don’t want to eat extra calories, when a glass of water is really what you need. Drinking water will improve your heart health, detoxify you, make your skin prettier, eliminate storage fat, etc.
What should I eat?
- Breakfast – Try to eat fresh fruits, organic yogurt or cereals. Avoid anything high in salt and whole fat milk!
- Lunch –Try to eat fish and a veggie salad. Avoid French fries, pizza, and pasta! You don’t want to look puffy.
- Dinner – Eat vegetables and grilled chicken (don’t forget about the portion size). Avoid cheese because cheese can be high in salt and fat!
All you have to do is to get some sleep, eat clean, drink water, exercise and repeat!
