Christmas is coming quickly and for those of you who don’t have a plan for it, like going out with friends or going on a trip, you can easily stay at home, get a warm blanket, a hot cup of coffee and watch a good movie.

Well, for those I have today a few recommendations and I hope that you will like the movies. Somehow beside the usual *Home Alone* movies some people really like the horror ones, with ghosts and stuff like this. And today I will present to you a few of them which must be on your list!

An amazing movie with a great storyline, it has been nominated for one Golden Globe and it has another 23 wins & 36 nominations so only by reading this you should have in mind that this is a good movie. The movie is about a woman, Grace ( Nicole Kidman ) who retires with her two children to a mansion on Jersey where she will wait for her husband to come back from the battle. And there all the “fun” begins. I won’t do spoilers because this is what I hate about a movie and I will let our readers to discover the movies.

Every movie with a orphanage for me is a little spooky, well this one is made for this. You will find a woman who is taking her kids to her childhood home which was an orphanage but after a while she realisez that her son communicates with an invisible new friend.

So if we were talking about Spanish movies here is another one, The Devil’s Backbone is also about an orphanage during the Spanish Civil War. Carlos, a boy whose father has died in the Spanish Civil War, arrives at an boy’s orphanage he discovers the school is haunted and has many dark secrets that he must uncover.

You didn’t tought that we missed the Paranormal Activiy movies. Last year I saw them with my friends and it was really fun so if you didn’t had the chance of seeing them, try now.
