You love shopping at C&A, right? You should thank the Brenninkmeijer family for making that possible!
The brothers Clemens and August Brenninkmeijer founded the fashion retail clothing store C&A back in 1841 and the business has constantly been evolving ever since, expanding respected street names such as H&M, Zara and TopShop.
I’m telling you, the families here are very powerful and they don’t get the attention they deserve. The 50 richest Dutch families brought together have a total fortune of 45,2 billion euros! That’s impressive, yes, but if you think about it, the Brenninkmeijer family has almost half of this amount of money itself!
The company has retail store branches in over 20 countries and plans to expand all the way to Egypt!
I guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of C&A than we ever expected!
