2. White vinegar

7. Vinegar and baking soda

The combination of white vinegar with sodium bicarbonate as a cleaning method for faucets is drawing a lot of attention.

This remedy combines the properties of both ingredients to remove stains, reduce the number of fungi and remove tartar.

Unlike the previous ones, this time it is not rubbed with a cloth, but it does effect by soaking the object.



  • 1/3 cup baking soda (40 g)
  • 1 cup white vinegar (250 ml)
  • 1 bag
  • 1 rubberized wire


What should you do?

  • Once you acquire the elements, proceed to mix the baking soda with the vinegar in a large bowl. Wait a few seconds before pouring it into the bag, it already has an effervescent effect.
  • When it has passed, incorporate the ingredients into the bag and insert it into the tap head.
  • Then secure it with the gummed wire, so that it is firmly in place.
  • Let it soak overnight or at least three hours.
