There are comedy sitcom shows that serve as stepping stones for young talents. Some even consider these programs as a nursery for future big comedians. The shows serve as a way for young talents to showcase their current skillset. They can even nurture their current skillset to become better. You can consider MadTV as one of this skill development shows.

Mad TV is an American comedy sketch show. It features several skits that depict humor and can even range to dark humor. It first aired inOctober 1995 and currently on a hiatus. It is technically Fox’s answer to a juggernaut called Saturday Night Live. It is now under the network The CW and as stated earlier currently on a hiatus. Its status on whether it is renewed or canceled is still unknown.

The show is currently on a hiatus. Its hiatus does not mean it was not able to have its glory days. Some stars or show’s alumni started their careers in the show. There are alumni like Alex Borstein who voices Lois Griffin from Family Guy, Taran Killam who honed his skills in the show before being a standout on its rival show the Saturday Night Live, and who would forget the awesome comedy duo, Keegan Michael-Key & Jordan Peele.

The duo stormed the comedy scene with their Key & Peele show. Their shows depict societal topics through humor. It ran for five seasons had notable sketches that involved the former President Obama and Key performing as an anger translator. The duo seems inseparable until their show ended and went their separate ways.

Keegan Michael-Key now co-stars in a comedy tv series on the USA Network called Playing House. Jordan Peele signed a TV development deal in February 2017. This September 2017, Peele now has his first project TV project. You can stream all comedy tv series online on solarmovie.

JORDAN PEELE’S TV DRAMA

Jordan Peele is known as a comedian. But this 2017, he is lined up to produce a TV drama called The Hunt. He is set to be the executive producer of the show.

The Hunt is a Nazi hunter drama under the Sonar Entertainment. True events surrounding the 1970s America inspired the production of this series. A band of Nazi hunters is on a quest to seek revenge and justice. They are tracking and killing Nazis who escaped justice and joined the American Society.

The partnership of Sonar Entertainment and Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions is a long-term deal. They are set to produce more potential series.

If you are wondering how credible Peele in the field of production, you can check out a movie called Get Out. It is a breakout horror film in 2017 and considered a success. Peele wrote the story, and the movie served as his directorial debut.

The Hunt does not have a network as of the moment. But with the credential of Peele in writing a script, the project draws a lot of interest from potential bidders. With Peele and his co-executive producer David Weil on board, the potential of the series can be expounded.
