5. Men In Her Life – $63.4 mil.
The image depicts actress Elizabeth Taylor with her third husband Mike Todd and her future husband Eddie Fisher. With the picture initially estimated at $40 million, two bidders helped crush the record of the auction house it was being sold in.
4. Green Car Crash (Green Burning Car I) – $80.8 mil.
As part of Andy’s Death and Disaster rather disturbing series, Green Car Crash was made with the help of Gerard Malanga and photographer John Whitehead. It is Warhol’s only painting of a car crash in which he used color and not only black and white.

Probably the most famous of all Andy Warhol portraits, Turquoise Marilyn was bought by impressionism and contemporary art collector Steven Cohen back in 2007.
