Best Dressed Celebrities At VMA 2014
You must have watched the Video Music Awards on Sunday and you must be wondering which were the best dressed celebs.
As usual, we have the answer. From glittery clothes, to sexy dresses and cute outfits, the VMAs had it all!
With a strong start with amazing performances by Ariana Grande and her new song Break Free, Nikki Minaj and her Anaconda and Jessie J along with Ariana Grande and Nikki Minaj, the VMAs kept us all excited.
There were a lot of crop tops, a lot of bare legs, and a lot of sexy stars, for sure.
And up next we are going to see who were the best dressed celebrities at VMA 2014!
We are not going to have a top 10, just a list, because the outfits were all oh-so-glamorous, and choosing a winner is kind of impossible.
So, in no particular order, let’s see the celebrities that left us all impressed with their amazing outfits at the 2014 Video Music Awards!
1.Taylor Swift
We start our journey with the cute Taylor Swift.
The ex-country singer, now pop star Taylor Swift has just released her new single, Shake It Off, and of course, she sang it at the VMAs.
While her scene outfit was a cute, girly, glittery crop top and matching shorts (which I totally loved), her outfit for the night was a blue printed romper by Mary Katrantzou.
She accessorized the romper with Elie Saab burgundy booties and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira and she totally rocked it!
Taylor is showing off her long toned legs, without being too sexy. The make up was her usual red-lipstick trademark, the singer looking stunning. She surely knows how to make us love her!
2.Gwen Stefani
Next on our list of the best dressed celebrities at VMA 2014 is Gwen Stefani.
The Don’t Speak singer turned the impossible into possible and showed us all that an almost all-pink outfit is perfectly wearable.
Stefani wore a flattering peplum top with tuxedo slim-fit trousers by her own Lamb Couture line.
The crazy pink outfit was accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and some sparkling black pumps to match the black details of the clothes.
Is this lady-like or what?
3.Kelly Rowland
One of the best dressed celebrities at the 2014 Video Music Awards is Kelly Rowland.
A very pregnant Kelly surprised us all with her classy and simple outfit, that worked perfectly for her and her cute baby bump.
Finding the right dress when you’re so pregnant might be a tricky thing to do, but Kelly just nailed it.
The singer wore a beautiful sparkling Kaufman Franco dress accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
The sequined nude dress, the cool braided hair and the classy make up made Kelly look like she’s glowing with every pore of her body.
And I can’t do anything than be happy for her! She’s one hot soon-to-be mamma!
4.Beyonce
Up next we have no other than Beyonce!
As a devoted fan of Beyonce, I can honestly admit that I breathlessly watched her performance, and I was quite happy of her reply to all the divorce rumors.
But aside from that, Bey (literally) just sparkled both on the red carped and on stage.
Her outfit was classy and sexy, as she got us used to. The Nicolas Jebran black lace gown let us all mind-blown, showing off her delicious curves. The make up was light, the long hair was as beautiful as we all know it, the diva wearing a pair of black earrings that matched the dress.
Her on-stage outfit was a glowing and sparkly body, that once again, showed us how toned and fit Bey is. At the end of her performance, she hugged and kissed her hubby and baby girl, as she received her prize.

5.Miley Cyrus
Yes, Miley Cyrus is indeed on the list of the best dressed celebrities at VMA 2014.
Miley not only won the Video of the Year award with her Wrecking Ball, but she also won her fair spot on the list of the best outfits at the 2014 VMAs.
Cyrus did not shock us (in a bad way) with her crazy uber revealing outfits, but with a very much trendy and fashionable style.
The artist wore a leather Alexandre Vauthier bandeau and high-waisted leather harem pants. The outfit was worn with a black clutch and some silvery sandals.
Nice job Miley, we are proud of you!
6.Iggy Azalea
One of the most interesting outfits worn at the VMAs this year was Iggy Azalea’s.
The sexy singer wore a very bold silver gown made by Atelier Versace that gave her a very cyborg-like look.
Her long hair was sleek and pulled back into a wet-hair look, her wearing nothing else but a silver chained necklace.
Iggy’s outfit was probably one of the most memorable ones, her showing us all how a curvy lady should dress like.
I have to admit, I love a bold woman wearing a bold outfit!
7.Jessie J
One of the best dressed celebrities at VMA 2014 was Jessie J.
Changing her outfits throughout the night, Jessie enchanted us all with a lime green vintage Halston gown that had a deep V and open back. The jewelry was designed by Lorraine Schwartz.
The sleek hair and nude make up fitted the dress perfectly.
The singer rocked a mini black and white dress on the stage, making the media say that she went comando. Did she?
Another interesting look was her vintage-inspired glittery crop top and high-wasted black pants, Jessie once again demonstrating that she can pull off pretty much any type of look.
8.Chanel Iman
Next on our list of the best dressed celebrities at the VMAs is Chanel Iman.
The Victoria secret rocked a Balmain heavy leather woven dress from the Fall 2014 collection that looked simply stunning on her.
With large hooped onyx earrings and Casadei black leather sandals with the signature Blade heel and gold hardware, Chanel surely turned heads when she walked by!
The supermodel had nude lips and wore just some black eyeliner and dark eye shadow to emphasize her beautiful eyes.
But the dress leaves me wondering: wasn’t she a little too hot while wearing it?
9.Olivia Culpo
One of the best dressed stars at the VMAs was Olivia Culpo.
The beauty pageant Olivia Culpo had one of the classiest, yet sexiest looks on the red carpet.
Standing by her boyfriend’s side, Nick Jonas, all the time, Olivia looked like a goddess. With a floor-long black and white dress, Olivia rocked the red carpet.
Her hair was fresh, side-swept, and she kept the rest of her look as minimal as she could, wearing nothing else than a small metallic clutch to accessorize her dress.
10.Solange Knowles
And the last, but definitely not the least, is Solange Knowles.
Solange might be out-shined by her sister, Queen B, but at the VMAs she looked as stunning as the Flawless singer.
She wore a sparkling tuxedo blazer and cigarette pants by H&M, her outfit being fresh, and quite surprising if we consider the other outfits.
The whole look was very original, her having natural hair and fresh make up, the red eyelashes giving that splash of color the outfit needed.
The H&M look was completed by Stuart Weitzman heels.
Bonus
Some of you might ask where are Jennifer Lopez or Rita Ora, right? That’s what the bonus is for! We are showing you 4 other celebs that looked amazing, but didn’t make our list.
Don’t get me wrong, they all look amazing in just about anything, but their VMA outfit just didn’t do it for me.
Yes, J Lo looked glamorous in her sparkling Charbel Zoe dress that showed off a really toned body.
And yes, Rita Ora’s Donna Karan Atelier red dress showed her fit sexy body as well, but for me, their dresses were a little dated.

They had much better appearances on other occasions, and just this once, the best dressed list does not include them!
Same goes for Nina Dobrev and (this might come as a surprise) Nicki Minaj.
I have to admit, Nina Dobrev had an amazing look. The dress fitted her, the make up and hair were flawless, but something about her didn’t really convince me. I’m guessing maybe she was not confident enough to totally rock her look?
And while Nina probably didn’t shock you, Nicki Minaj on the best dressed list probably will. Just as Miley Cyrus, Minaj let the super Wow outfits aside, and looked pretty decent in her printed sparkly dress. We like it better this way, Nicky, trust us.
