The most expensive exotic car to rent is the Bugatti Chiron, which brokers quote from about $30,000 a day in Los Angeles and from 25,000 euros a day in Europe, as of October 2026. Everything below that is far cheaper: the priciest cars you can book online, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, run about $1,800 to $3,000 a day. This top 10 ranks cars by the daily rates rental companies publish, mainly in Miami and San Diego. Rates are quotes, not guaranteed prices, and vary by season, city and mileage.

1. Bugatti Chiron: from about $30,000 a day
Rental firms say the Chiron starts around $30,000 a day in Los Angeles and rises fast. The Sport version is quoted on request, at times above $35,000. A European operator lists the standard Chiron from 25,000 euros a day, with a large card deposit. Quotes in Dubai vary so much from firm to firm that we do not rely on them.
Most are not offered for self-drive. Expect low mileage caps, as little as 50 to 75 miles a day, and deposits that can reach $50,000 to $100,000.
How we valued it: rental-company quotes in two markets, which are marketing figures, so read them as an indicative range.
2. Bugatti Veyron: $20,000 to $25,000 a day
The older Veyron costs less than the Chiron but is still in a class of its own. One Los Angeles firm quotes $20,000 to $25,000 a day and the Grand Sport in the upper $20,000s when available.
These cars usually come through private brokers or invitation-only services, and many are chauffeur-only.
How we valued it: an indicative range from one rental firm, with a second firm lower. The real price is whatever the broker quotes.
3. Ferrari SF90 Stradale: $2,995 a day
The most expensive car with a published online rate that we found. A plug-in hybrid with close to 1,000 horsepower, it tops the Ferrari list of one San Diego firm.
Deposits for flagship exotics at that firm run $7,500 to $10,000, and miles above the cap cost $3 to $10 each.
How we valued it: single-day rate. Three-day and weekly rates cost less per day.
4. Ferrari Purosangue: $2,795 a day
Ferrari’s first four-door production car is the priciest car on one Miami fleet, ahead of the F8 Spider at $1,845 and the electric Rolls-Royce Spectre at $1,790.
Rates there rise in event weeks such as Miami Music Week and F1.
How we valued it: fleet rate as of August 2026, with peak weeks costing more.
5. Ferrari 296 GTB: $2,495 a day
A newer, smaller-engined hybrid, priced below the SF90 but above the older F8 Tributo at $2,195.
Ferrari rentals across the market run $1,500 to $3,000 a day, according to one marketplace.
How we valued it: single-day rate at a San Diego firm.
6. Lamborghini Revuelto: $2,395 a day
The Revuelto replaced the Aventador as the brand’s V12 flagship. At one San Diego firm it matches the McLaren 720S at $2,395.
Listings in other cities run higher, and one Miami guide puts peak-season rates at $4,000 or more. Treat $2,395 as the low end of what it costs.
How we valued it: rate at one firm. Others quote more, so we rank at the lower figure.
7. McLaren 720S: $2,395 a day
A twin-turbo V8 supercar that a Miami firm lists from $1,595 and a San Diego firm at $2,395. A marketplace gives McLarens a range of $1,200 to $2,500.

8. Ferrari F8 Tributo: $2,195 a day
One of Ferrari’s last purely petrol V8 supercars before the hybrids arrived. It rents for $2,195 in San Diego, and the Spider version lists at $1,845 in Miami.

9. Rolls-Royce Cullinan: $1,895 a day
Rolls-Royce’s SUV is the most expensive luxury (rather than sports) car on the list. A Miami fleet lists it up to $1,495 and another Miami firm from $1,395.
Chauffeur service often adds to the price at weddings and events.

10. Lamborghini Aventador: from $1,795 a day
The last naturally aspirated Lamborghini V12 is still the most expensive car on one Miami firm’s list, from $1,795 a day.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost, at $1,795 in San Diego, ties it on price.
How we valued it: starting rate that the firm calls a planning estimate, covering its cheapest days.
What changed since our last edition
Our earlier edition ranked a Bentley Mulsanne at $1,417 as number 10 and an Aston Martin DBS at $1,755. Those cars are now less common on rental lists, and the sub-$2,000 tier is full of hybrids, SUVs and electric Rolls-Royces. A Bugatti is still the most expensive car to rent, and brokers now quote the Chiron at five figures a day.
Newer entries include the Revuelto, Ferrari SF90, 296 GTB and Purosangue, and the Rolls-Royce Spectre.
What drives these prices
- Insurance and deposits. The most exotic cars need card holds of $5,000 to $100,000, which pushes firms to price high.
- Scarcity. Only a few Bugattis are on the market for hire, and firms use brokers.
- Hybrid flagships. Ferrari’s plug-in hybrid supercars out-earn older V8 and V12 cars.
- City and season. Miami in event weeks costs more than San Diego in winter.
- Mileage caps. A typical cap of 100 to 200 miles a day, with overage at $3 to $10 a mile, is where many renters pay more.
