The documentary Startup.com tells us the story of the rise and fall of the govWorks.com, a dot.com company.
A dot.com company, for those who don’t know, is a company that does its business on the internet.
govWorks.com was founded by Tom Herman and Kaleil Isaza Tuzman and succeeded in raising $60 million in funding from Hearst Interactive Media, KKR, Sapient and New York Investment Fund.
But, as the story says to us, all the funding and the money in the world can get you nowhere if you can’t trust your team and deliver a more better product than the already existing companies.
