The BMW i3 is a part of BMW’s “Project I” and is a five-door urban electric car with zero-emissions!
BMW is the first company to launch a volume production vehicle on the market which features carbon-fiber reinforced plastic in order to improve the vehicle’s energy consumption.
The eco-friendly i3 has a number of charging functions which allows the owner to charge the battery from a conventional socket in less than 3 hours with the use of the BMW i Wallbox Pure.
BMW i3 was even selected by the Green Car Journal as one of the five finalists for the 2012 Green Car Vision Award, and won the Car Design of the Year award for 2013 in the production category at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show.
