5. Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute
Halfway trough the list, and on number five, we have the Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute watch.
And it comes in a 43mm in diameter and 13.85mm thick matte/satin finished stainless steel case treated with a highly durable carbon-based black finish.
On the solid matte black dial, the time is displayed in a 24 hour mode, this feature being designed for space travel.
You can get this exact watch for $8,990!
Since day and night is meaningless in space, Breitling developed a watch that tells time in 24 hour mode helping the astronaut from getting confused between AM and PM.
The watch is also fitted with a bi-directional turning bezel which control the “Slide Rule”, which can compute different airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times and converting miles into nautical miles or kilometers.
The Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute watch contains a number of 39 jewels and has an approximate power reserve of 70+ hours.
