3. Chevrolet Corvette
With three more 60s classics left on the list, we move on to a sports car manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors.
Designed by Larry Shinoda with major inspiration from a previous concept design called the “Q Corvette”, the second generation Corvette was referred to as mid-years.
This vehicle had the largest impact on the styling of this generation, and was introducing a new name, the “Sting Ray”.
With its production starting in 1963, the Sting Ray featured hidden headlamps, non-functional hood vents, and an independent rear suspension.
Its maximum power was 360 bhp and was raised to 375 bhp after one year, in 1964.
1967 was the final year for the C2 generation, and the next year, Chevrolet would bring a new model, the third generation, Chevrolet Corvette C3.
