8.Bono and the Edge – The Clarence Hotel, Dublin, Ireland
Our next stop is in Ireland, at The Clarence Hotel.
Based in Dublin, The Clarence Hotel became one of the coolest hotels in Dublin after being purchased by U2 singer Bono and U2 guitarist, The Edge, in 1992.
The 49-room Clarence mixes modern with traditional very well, and the Octagon Bar is a must-visit place. The bar was the reason Bono and The Edge decided to buy the hotel, them being regulars at the bar.
The two storey penthouse will offer your a rock-n-roll feeling and breath-taking views of the River Liffey, as well as a grand piano and a rooftop hot tub.
The hotel was ranked #74 in Dublin and is recommended by TripAdvisor for its exciting night-life, perfect for young people who want to have fun.
Well worth the money! And will def be back!
