5.Jay Z – 40/40 Club, New York City
How can Jay Z not own a restaurant? Of course he does, I mean, come on, the man has it all.
Including a $40 million jet thanks to his lovely wife.
But today we are focusing on his 40/40 Club, in New York City, which has been opened for more than a decade.
The luxurious sports bar has over 1000 square meters, and serves both as a nightclub and a dining place. If you are wondering what the name stands for, 40/40 comes from a baseball feat of hitting 40 home runs and stealing 40 bases in a single season, thing that only four players in history have achieved.
The 40/40 Club feels and tastes like luxury, as Jay Z has us used to. The venue features gold baseball bats on the wall, box-style seating and private rooms with billiard tables. To top all that, chandeliers are hung from gold cables and gold Champagne bottles are seen around the bar, the club having a sporting memorabilia as well.
The 40/40 serves Buffalo wings, southern fried shrimp, turkey sliders and braised beef short ribs. So this high end club is a good place to experience Jay Z’s life for a bit!
#6 is a unique restaurant where you don’t have to pay!
