One of the best cities for spotting celebrities is Chicago, Illinois.
Dubbed as the Windy City, Chicago is one of the most famous places to be in. The city was the home of many firsts, such as the world’s first skyscraper in 1885, or the first televised U.S. presidential debates between Kennedy and Nixon in 1960.
With over 5000 restaurants and 20 theatres, Chicago is an important place for film productions. In the 1990s stars such as Charlie Chaplin and Gloria Swanson could be seen in the city.
Some of the television productions filmed here are Home Alone, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Chicago Fire and The Oprah Winfrey Show, and many more recent TV series including The Good Wife, Shameless, Happy Endings, and Chicago Fire.
Stars such as Joan Cusack, R. Kelly and Steve Harvey live in Chicago. Oh, and remember Saturday Night Live? Just imagine how many celebrities you can spot!
