The Armani Italian fashion house was founded by Giorgio Armani in 1975, and markets its products under several labels.
The brand it’s worldwide known for designing and manufacturing leather goods, shoes, watches, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics and home interiors.
The high-end label specializing in men’s and women’s clothing and accessories is available only in Giorgio Armani boutiques, specialty clothiers and select high-end department stores.
Another label under which the brand markets its products is Emporio Armani, which has a high quality in luxury fashion clothes and focus on trends and modern traits.
Emporio Armani is the only Giorgio Armani diffusion line that is mainly designed by Giorgio Armani, and has a spotlight at Milan Fashion Week every year.
By the end of the year 2005, estimated sales of the Armani company were around $1.69 billion, and that was just 10 years ago.
