7. Chevrolet Camaro (Fifth Generation)
The fifth generation of Chevrolet Camaro started its production back in 2010.
The car received a complete redesign, and new platform for the 2010 model year, a platform based on the 2006 Camaro Concept and 2007 Camaro Convertible Concept.
The fifth-generation Camaro was approved on August 10, 2006, and went on sale in spring of 2009 as a 2010 model year vehicle.
The LS and LT models were powered by a 3.6 L V6 engine producing 312 hp, while the SS model is powered by the 6.2 L LS3 V8 engine, and is producing 426 hp.
And on April 1, 2010, the Chevrolet Camaro was named the World Car Design of the Year at the World Car of the Year Awards.
