6. Jeep Cherokee
The Cherokee was built by Jeep since the year 1984, and continued to be built and marketed by Chrysler after 1987.
This car has been described as one of the 20 greatest cars of all time for its design, and that’s not all.
The Jeep Cherokee’s design was considered “possibly the best SUV shape of all time.
When it came out, the Cherokee was the first Jeep with a ladder-boxed chassis integrated into a single monocoque unit rather than the traditional separate body-on-frame construction.
And due to its durability and reliability, the XJ model was selected by Kiplinger as one of “10 cars that refuse to die”.
