4. Jeep Patriot
The Patriot model from Jeep was introduced in 2007, but it debuted publicly a year earlier, in April 2006 at the New York Auto Show.
The Jeep Patriot is based on the DaimlerChrysler/Mitsubishi GS platform, and it differentiate itself by its styling and marketing.
This car is a traditional four-door Jeep wagon, similar to the Cherokee, which was discontinued in the U.S. in 2001.
The Patriot also came in three models: Sport, Latitude, and Limited, and in 2007, it won the Green 4×4 Award and the 2008 4×4 of the Year in the UK.
For the future, Jeep announced that the Patriot, as well as the Compass model, will continue their production until mid-2016, when both models will be replaced by a single as yet unrevealed vehicle in the same class.
