And here we are at the end of our list, closing it with the legendary Lamborghini Miura.
Produced by the Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1966 and 1973, the Miura was widely considered to have instigated the trend of high performance, two-seater, mid-engined sports cars.
And believe it or not, the Lamborghini Miura was originally conceived by Lamborghini’s engineering team, who designed the car in their spare time against the wishes of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.
But that did’t stop them to create one of the fastest production road car available at that time.
Equipped with a 3929 cc V12 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, the Miura P400 model developed 350 hp, and won the prestigious Gran Turismo Trophy at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
