3. Maserati 3500
Produced between the years 1957 and 1964, the 3500 model is a a 2-door coupé and convertible manufactured by Maserati.
The two 2+2 prototype 3500GT, revealed at the Salon International de l’Auto in Geneva, March 1957, was developed by the chief engineer Giulio Alfieri.
The Maserati 3500 model was equipped with a 3485.3 cc Inline-Six engine with three twin-choke 42 DCOE Weber carburettors and a ZF 4 speed and reverse transmission and rear wheel drive.
This model was the company’s first attempt at the Gran Turismo market and large-volume production.
