6. Maybach DSH
The Maybach DSH model was introduced in 1930, and wanted to cash in some of the huge attention.
Powered by a newly developed 5.2-liter engine, the DSH model was able to produce a power output of 130 hp.
Also, using a four speed sequential transmission it was able to reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h).
The name of this model has quite a strange thinking behind it, DSH stands for “Double Six Half”, pointing at the car’s six-cylinder 5.2 L unit derived from the larger and more powerful DS V12 design.
The total number of units sold,both closed body and open top, was 100 units, between the years 1930 and 1937.
