5. 1963 MERCEDES-BENZ 600
Offered in several variants worldwide, The Mercedes-Benz 600 was a large luxury automobile.
The car was introduced in September 1963 and some of its rivals back then were Rolls Royce, Bentley, the stretched Lehmann-Peterson Lincoln, the Chrysler Imperial Crown Ghia, and the Cadillac Fleetwood 75.
The production for this car started in 1964, and a number of almost 600 units were built through 1972.
Due to factors as the oil crisis and the introduction of new S-Class models, the demand for the Mercedes-Benz 600 dropped.
Even though the production continued until 1981, during that time, 2,677 vehicles were built.
