Here we are at the end of our 10 Best Muscle Cars of All Time list, closing it with the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE!
Produced by Chrysler from 1966 until 1978, the Charger is a mid-size high-performance automobile.
The 1969 model year brought few modifications, with exterior changes including a new grille with a center divider and new longitudinal taillights both designed by Harvey J. Winn.
And anew trim line called the Special Edition was added, and this version could be available by itself, or packaged with the R/T, ending up a Dodge Charger R/T SE.
The Special Edition option, added high end luxury to a full on muscle car and was available as the Dodge Charger 500 SE and R/T SE models.
You may know this car from the television series The Dukes of Hazzard, where it was featured as the “General Lee”.
