The American author reached fame when he wrote his debut series, the Riyria Chronicles, a six book fantasy & science series.
Even though his original, self published version of the Riyria Chronicles is out of print, he is still one of the most successful self published Sci-Fi and Fantasy authors of all times, the six book series being translated into 14 different languages.
Sullivan opened his own small press in order to publish his book. He finished all 6 books before he signed with Orbit to have the books published, and by that time he had already sold 70.000 copies on his own.
Quite simply, classic fantasy with a modern twist. And absolutely fun reads. No other way to describe it.
