Originally created by Gooderham and Worts, Canadian Club is another brand of whiskey manufactured by Beam Suntory since 2011.
It comes in 7 varieties and all are 80 proof (40% alcohol by volume): Canadian Club 6 Year Old (the most popular of the Canadian Club range), Canadian Club Reserve, Canadian Club Classic, Canadian Club 100 Proof, Canadian Club Sherry Cask and Canadian Club Dry.
Popularly known as C.C., the Canadian whiskey has seen sales of 1.9 million cases since 2011.
For special markets, C.C. is also produced in limited quantities in older agings; 15 years and up. In 2008, a 30-year-old version has been released in a limited bottling.
Canadian Club has received the royal warrants of Queen Victoria, Elizabeth II, Edward VII, George V and George VI.
