5Jameson
At least once in your lifetime you enjoyed a glass of Jameson.
This exquisite whiskey is produced from a mixture of malted and unmalted or ‘green’ Irish barley, all sourced from within a 50 mile radius around the Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
By the early 19th century, the company was producing 3.785.112 litres (1 million gallons) of whiskey per year.
Produced by the Irish Distillers subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, the whiskey was the only Irish whiskey to sell more than a million cases.
The brand registered the most growth in the entire million case selling with a 15% increase in sales to 4.6 million.
Besides Jameson Original, the Jameson Reserve include Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve, Jameson 12 Year Old Distillery Reserve, Jameson Gold Reserve, Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve, Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve, Jameson Signature Reserve and Jameson Select Reserve Black Barrel.
For serious whiskey drinkers, Ealuxe recommends the the 18 Year Old Limited Reserve and the Rarest Vintage Reserve, which have won gold and double gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition between 2005 and 2010.
Not to mention, Rarest Reserve is rated as one of the Top 20 whiskies in the world by Proof66.
