8. Vans
Eight on the list and next in line is the American manufacturer of shoes, based in Cypress, California.
The first Vans store was opened under the name of “The Van Doren Rubber Company” in the year 1966, by Paul and James Van Doren, Gordon Lee, and Serge D’Elia.
They started by manufactured shoes and sold them directly to the public, and on that first morning, twelve customers purchased Vans deck shoes, which are now known as “Authentic”.
Now, the company also produces apparel, and other products such as T-shirts, hoodies, socks, hats, and backpacks.
And since the year 2013, Vans is active in the actions sports industry and sponsors skateboard, surf, snow, BMX, and Motocross teams.
