4. Puma
Next on the list we have the well known German manufacturer and multinational company, Puma.
With its headquarters in in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany, Puma is a company that that produces and sells athletic and casual footwear, as well as sportswear.
Puma was founded in 1924 as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik by two brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler.
But because their relationship was deteriorating, the two of them split in 1948, forming two separate entities, Adidas and Puma.
After this incident, Rudolf Dassler originally registered the new-established company as Ruda, but later changed its name into Puma.
Since then, Puma has intensified its activities in the United States, and now owns 25% of American brand sports clothing maker Logo Athletic.
