8.Stella McCartney
On number 8 we have Stella McCatney.
The famous designer amazes us all with her eco-friendly designs. A big step McCartney made was when in 2013, she launched a new faux leather made with over 50% vegetable oil, allowing the designer to use less petroleum in her products.
McCartney’s fashion line has environmentally friendly products, produced through extensive research in order to maintain its sustainability.
For example, the Stella McCartney eye-wear is made of caster-oil seeds and citric acid, and in 2010 her Autmon line had shoes with soles made of a degradable bio-plastic called APINAT.
