What could be more heart melting than watch some lovely elephants trying to draw? Well, perhaps some kittens or puppies. However, this too fills your heart with warmth.
These lovely creatures are a symbol of wisdom, courage, nobility and strength and to see one fooling around with a paint brush, it’s just …crazy.
But can elephants be artists? Yes, according to Desmond Morris. They can be trained to paint.
In Thailand there are 8 elephants (named Kamsan, Wanpen, Au Pod, Langkam, Duanpen, Punpetch, Songpun and Kongkam) which created the most expensive painting made by a group of elephants.
Sold on February, 2005 in Thailand, for $39.000, that painting broke a Guinnesss Record.
After that, the painting was split in 2. Half the painting remained in Chiang Mai and the other half was given to Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra of Thailand.
