Francis Harry Compton Crick is the biologist, neuroscientist and biophysicits who discovered the DNA molecule in 1953. We have him to thank for!
The double-helix structure of DNA is one of the most important scientific discovery of the 20th century, and the paper on which it was documented is worth more than $6 million.
Nicknamed ‘Secret of Life’, the 7-page letter was sold on April 10, 2013 at Christie’s.
And guess who bought it? None other than Francis Crick’s son, Michael Crick.
