4. Lamborghini Reventon
The Reventon debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it was the most expensive Lamborghini road car at that time.
The top speed of the Lamborghini Reventon was recorded in Dubai, and it reached 221 miles per hour (355.7 km/h).
And despite that its exterior design was new, almost all the mechanical elements, including here is the engine too, were sourced directly from the Murciélago LP640.
Which isn’t bad at all, because the LP640 is an amazing model too, right? In fact, name one car manufactured by Lamborghini that’s not amazing!
According to the official press release, the Reventón’s exterior styling was inspired by “the fastest airplanes”.
The first Reventon was allegedly sold to Khalid Abdul Rahim of Bahrain, while on 21 November 2008, the last Reventon was announced to be delivered to a British customer of the official Midlands dealer, Lamborghini Birmingham.
Lucky guys indeed, just imagine how it feels like to know that you are the one that owns the first Reventon.
