2. He is only the third man in the world to hold all 4 Grand Slam titles
Winning the Roland Garros was meaningful to Djokovic not just because it was the only title he has never won before, but also because it went down to a history of tennis.
Djokovic is the current holder of all other Grand Slam titles: Wimbledon, Australian Open, and US Open. No other current tennis player has ever done that before.
The last time it happened 47 years ago. It was Rod Laver who won all four titles at the same year for the second time in 1969. The first one was in 1962. Before the Open Era of tennis, Don Budge did the same in 1938.
Djokovic has made a major historical moment of tennis. He may be the 8th tennis player to have the Career Grand Slam after Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. But he is only the third one to hold all four Grand Slam titles at the same time (the second in Open Era).
He is currently leading the world ranking with a total of 16,950 points. That is more than 8,000 points lead from the number two rank, Andy Murray (8,915 points).
