Freedom comes in ten distinct types, from physical and mental freedom to financial, time, location and power freedom, and absolute freedom is what you get when all of them come together. Freedom is one of the core values of modern society, but the video points out that not everyone has the same amount, and few understand the different types you can actually build. Some people have money but no time, some are free to move but mentally trapped, and some can travel anywhere but cannot be themselves.
Below are the ten levels, what life is like without each one, and what changes when you gain it.

Level 1: Physical freedom
The most basic and most fundamental form of freedom. Without it, the higher levels do not mean much. Losing it is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is literal restraint, like prison or captivity. More often it is a matter of health: a terrible illness, an injury, or not being in good enough shape to climb a flight of stairs when there is no elevator.
Feeling free is hard when your body is not really yours. Physical freedom connects your intentions to your actions: you can move when you want, go where you choose and control the direction of your day. Maybe you are not everywhere you want to be, but you can move in any direction you choose.
Level 2: Freedom of opportunity
Lacking it, you follow the script you were handed. Your parents did one thing, so you do the same, and your kids will likely repeat it. Environment, people and circumstance box you in, you know nobody who can open doors, and even if you dream bigger you lack the skills or connections to make it real. You accept the only path on the table.
Gaining it changes things noticeably. You gain skills that let you move in different directions and meet people who introduce new ideas. You are no longer limited to one career, one environment or one version of yourself. What changes is the number of opportunities, and above all your ability to choose among them.
Level 3: Mental freedom
Here you find out whether your own mind is your greatest asset or the main thing holding you back. Without mental freedom, your thoughts are shaped by insecurity, tradition, dogma, propaganda or whoever is trying to manipulate you this week. You absorb other people’s thoughts instead of forming your own.
The script points to a long TikTok session that leaves your brain feeling put in an air fryer. Your mind gets used to being stimulated without working, and you lose the ability to think for yourself.
With mental freedom you can sit with your own thoughts for 15 minutes without panicking, question what you have been taught, and judge ideas without needing a group to approve them. You stop outsourcing your worldview to your phone or the people around you.
Like physical freedom, this one is fundamental to reaching the rest.
Level 4: Financial freedom
The level people feel the most pressure from, even if they do not admit it. Lacking it, an invisible wall surrounds your life. Bills decide your choices and your bank balance factors into everything. You stop asking what you want to do and ask what you can afford to do, which are two very different questions.
Even small things become stressful. You hesitate before saying yes to dinner with friends, stay in a dead-end job because you cannot risk a paycheck, and meet every big idea with how would I pay for it. Money does not buy happiness, the script says, but enough of it solves around 98% of your problems.
With savings, a few income streams and maybe some investments growing in the background, you have peace, and you start making decisions based on what you want.
Financial freedom means asking what you want, not what you can afford.
Level 5: Time freedom
One of the rarest. Without time freedom, someone else decides how your hours are used. You wake, work, eat, rest, commute and even sleep on a schedule you did not design. For most people that is what a nine-to-five job is. You are renting out your day and trying to live in the hours left over.
Time freedom does not mean you stop working. It means you choose when to rest and when to focus, when to move your body and when to explore new things. Like an architect, you design your day around your natural energy and goals, and your schedule becomes a reflection of who you are trying to become. How you spend your hours becomes how you spend your years, and once you have a taste, it is very hard to go back.
Level 6: Emotional freedom
It may sound cheesy, but the script says this one holds back most people from the life they want. In its absence, feelings drive actions. You start a project but lack the motivation to finish, you crumble under pressure, or you do not stand up for yourself when you know you are right. Emotions decide what you say and do, and it does not feel like you are steering.
Building emotional freedom does not mean you stop feeling. You will still feel nervous before a speech, but you give it anyway. You still feel frustrated, jealous and angry, but you create space between emotion and action, and in that space you get to choose. It makes you stronger, more disciplined, more resilient and more intentional, so you can follow through on plans.
Level 7: Location freedom
This one is about controlling your environment instead of having it control you. If you lack it, you are tied to one city, one office, one daily route and often one country, living where life placed you with the people it placed there.
Location freedom is not about spending half the year in airports. The place you were born may not support your goals, so location freedom is about shaping the space around you. Sometimes that is as simple as choosing what your office looks like, and sometimes it is moving across the world because that is where your industry is growing. Some people become digital nomads and others collect more passports than any sane person needs. The effect is that you can place yourself in new cultures, industries and mindsets when you need to.
When you can choose where you live, you also choose who you become.
Level 8: Social freedom
Social freedom has two sides. The internal side is wanting to dress a certain way or try something new, then stopping because you are imagining someone’s reaction. You hide parts of yourself, hold back opinions and avoid risks because you fear looking stupid, being rejected or criticized. That is not freedom.
The external side is the ability to surround yourself with the people you actually want in your life. To spend time with people in incredible shape, you need to be in great shape. To spend time with entrepreneurs, thinkers or high-level performers, you must bring something to the table.
When you gain both, you stop living in fear of judgment, express yourself and take risks. The script’s point is that you then naturally attract higher-level people, not by forcing your way in, but by becoming someone they appreciate: someone fully themselves.
Level 9: Power freedom
A spectrum that everyone is on. Without power freedom, your life just is what it is and you cannot change it. Complete power freedom, on the other end, makes you a god among men, as the video puts it.
Power is about more than politics. At its core it is a status built through skill: learning to negotiate, persuade, build teams and make an idea real. It is the skill of making things happen. With it you can negotiate a salary and get the number you asked for, convince talented people to join a project, or make a phone call and find an investor for a new business. At the highest end you can rewrite the rules of society, but it starts smaller, and it can be learned.
Level 10: Absolute freedom
The highest level, where every other form of freedom comes together. It is hard to tick every box. You can have time freedom and be broke, physical freedom with no opportunities, or emotional freedom without the status to choose your social circle. Most people are missing a few pieces.
Absolute freedom is what happens when the puzzle is complete: your body is not holding you back, your mind is your own, your time is yours, your money supports your choices and you have enough power to shape the world around you. Reaching it takes an insane amount of determination, but it is not a fantasy.
If you want to raise your right hand, you can. If you want to put your sports clothes on and run, you can. If you want to begin a business tonight, you can take the first step. Absolute freedom is that basic ability to choose, expressed at the highest possible level.
Checking your own levels
The list works best as a diagnostic. Few people hold all ten at once, so the useful question is which pieces are missing. Several are foundations for others: physical and mental freedom come early because every other kind of freedom has to be acted on.
Pick the weakest level and work on that one first.
