With the performance power of a BMW M series vehicle and a standard of fuel efficiency ,aerodynamics and low emissions, this Vision concept is one step ahead of anything the car market has to offer at this point.
The turbocharged diesel engine that produces 163 horsepower and 214 pound feet of torque is complimented by a pair of electric motors. When cruising or braking ,these act as a generator and supply power to the lithium-polymer battery.
According to the situation, such as in overtaking maneuvers, the sum total output of all three engines increases to 356 horsepower and 590 pound feet of torque. This allows the hybrid concept car to reach 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 249.5 km/h.
