With more and more hints that the automotive industry is heading towards automated driving, anyone who enjoys the pleasure of manual driving is worried that it will be a thing of the past.
However, the japanese carmaker made an effort to disperse such issues by creating the ‘Fun Vehicle 2’, a concept car designed to be an extension of the driver.
Emulating a connection similar to one between the rider and the horse, this concept car aims to achieve this by analysing the driver’s body movements in order to accurately predict which direction to go.
Similar to the Segway ,where you lean in whichever direction you want to move, the concept car does not have a steering wheel or pedals.
Moreover ,using facial and voice cues, the FV2 concept car changes its exterior colour according to the driver’s mood.
This futuristic concept opens its canopy to allow you to get in, and does not close it until you are safely inside and on your seat.
Even getting into it ,makes you feel like you are going to drive a light cycle from the movie ‘Tron: Legacy’.
