3. Sunbeam Tiger
This lightweight, two seater, hot rod of the future is meant to pay homage to its ancestor , the original Sunbeam Tiger that set the land speed record back in 1925.
With such a racing pedigree ,its electric drivetrain is based on a lithium-titanate battery pack that has the advantage of recharging faster than standard lithium-ion ones.
Keeping this in mind, the Tiger concept car could boast a theoretical 0 to 60 time of 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 257.5 km/h. In these circumstances, even the 1287 kilometres maximum range wouldn’t be enough for long. That is why, due to the technology used, it would only take 4 hours to reach a full charge.
To prove that the concept car Sunbeam Tiger isn’t just about speed, the materials that it could be made of ,are as eco- friendly as they get. Recycled aluminium for the body, eco painted door panels, soy foam seats covered in natural bio fabric and even tires made of green materials.
