4. Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder
Fourth on the list and next in line is yet another classic car manufactured by the Italian automaker Ferrari, the 250 GT California Spyder.
This car was designed for export to North America, and was Scaglietti’s interpretation of an open-top 250 GT.
The engine was the same as in the 250 Tour de France racing, producing up to 237 hp.
When it comes to its structure, aluminium was used for the hood, doors, and trunk lid , while the rest of it was made of steel, except for some aluminium-bodied racing versions.
A total of fifty long-wheel-base models were built before the SWB version superseded them in 1960.
