2. Economic Development and Acceleration
Indonesia has a Master-plan for Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development. This plan is also known as MP3EI. This was launched by the former president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
MP3EI is the Indonesian government’s ambitious plan in accelerating the realization of becoming a developed country. The main goal of this plan is to have $14,250 – $15,500 per capita income by the year of 2025.
This is a national plan. This means the whole authorities will put on a massive amount of efforts to boost the economy sector. Wouldn’t investors love that?
Besides reaching the amount of per capita income, this plan has other main goals. They are to increase the capability of industry, to encourage production efficiency, and to strengthen national innovation system in production and marketing.
