It was founded in 1911 by Frank Mars, in Tacoma, WA who began making butter cream candy at his home.
Mars Inc. introduced its Milky Way bar in the early 1920s and it was an immediate success, so much so that the company moved to a larger US factory in 1929.
Then in 1930, the Snickers bar followed and after Three Musketeers two years later.
Nowadays, Mars has some of the most popular products such as snacks, beverages, and food in the world.
M&M’s, Twix, Bounty, Malteasers, Uncle Ben’s Rice, Wrigley’s gum, Skittles also get a place in the list.
Because of the popular products, Mars grossed $33 billion this year.
