You remember Richard Harris, the first actor who played the role of Dumbledore, right?
Unfortunately, he only got to play the role for the first two movies of the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, before he tragically passed away.
Although he played the role like a pro, don’t you think he wanted the part in the first place, no! We owe it to his granddaughter.
This is actually hilarious. The only reason Richard accepted the part was because his granddaughter, who was 11 years old back then, threatened not to speak to him ever again if he didn’t do it! Ah, the things you do in the name of love!
All in all, may he rest in peace because that’s the man who first introduced us in this world of magic!
