8. Facing the uncertainty
As an employee, you have your path set for you, whether it is your career path or your financial path. You know what to aim and you know where and how long to get there. You also know how much money you will get every payday.
As a business owner, you don’t.
Even though you can see where your business is going, you never know what is going to really happen. You can never be sure if next month you can still afford dinner at a fine dining restaurant.
You will have to face this uncertainty as long as you are running your own business. No matter how good your plan is, there is always the threat of bankruptcy somewhere along the way.
