The Death Mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. It was found along with the whole tomb of the King of Tut.
King of Tut ruled Egypt when he was only nine years old. And he ruled the kingdom for ten years until he died by the age of eighteen.
Obviously, the death mask is the most valuable among other artifacts found within the tomb. It is made of 11 kilograms solid gold and inlaid with semi-precious stones.
