This was an important discovery in Denmark, because it proves the existence of legendary Thor. He might not be the almighty god, but he definitely influenced the Viking mythology and jewelry.
Torben Christjansen, an amateur archaeologist, found this amulet using a metal detector. You can see this amulet in the National Museum of Denmark.
The amulet is cast in bronze with traces of silver and gold plating. So, it gives it the approximate of $8,000 worth.
