11. A Roman Marble Torso of Bacchus (Price: $9,500)
The ancient Roman made sculptures of their gods. Bacchus, the god of wine, was one of them. In the Greek mythology, he is Dionysos, the last of twelve Olympians.
Back then, people worshiped Bacchus in exchange of blessing their vine and vegetation with fertility.
This 36-centimeters-high Marble Torso of Bacchus was taken from the Roman ancient ruins in the 1st century AD. Unfortunately, there have been many of similar sculptures traded among collectors instead of being preserved.
This artifact is actually being sold under the export approval from Israel Antiquities Authority. So, if you are willing to spend $9,500, you can have this piece of Roman sculpture for yourself.
