6. Real Life X-Jet Costs Millions of Dollar
Let’s get back to what the movie has in stored in terms of luxury things. Remember the reminiscing scene of Raven the Mystique and Hank the Beast? They were romantically involved in real life too, by the way.
On that scene, Hank took Raven to see the X-Jet. The jet is a modified Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Yes, that is a real jet used in real life. One unit of this aircraft can cost around $33 million.
Hank modified the jet to suit the mutant battle better. It features common superhero jet functions such as radar, bomb bay doors, stealth technology, vertical thruster, and high-speed engines.
Although in the previous movie we saw it destroyed by Magneto and Storm to fight the Sentinels, the jet seemed to survive the time-line and remained intact in this movie. Well, they are set in different times anyway. We have to wait and see what happen in the next X-Men movies.
