10. Featured the Expensive Antique Car
The events of the movie are set in the 80s. Thus, they brought the era’s hallmarks up on the screen such as the buildings, clothes, and cars. Who doesn’t love vintage cars? They are simply stunning.
While Professor Xavier was out of town, the kids decided to sneak out on a 1949 Oldsmobile Rocket. Scott Summers, a.k.a Cyclops, was lucky enough to drive it around with his X-Men buddies. The car was on several scenes, including Quicksilver’s slow motion scene on the picture above.
The Oldsmobile Rocket ranked third in the world’s most visible car brand according to some experts. That means, the original 1949 version in its prime condition can cost up to $400,000.
If you want to get of those, there are several used Oldsmobile Rocket cars available in the market for around $10,000 – $70,000. Besides this car, a vintage Jaguar was also seen for a few seconds in the movie.
