1. Monkeys Rule Some Areas
Celebrities are not the only ones you need to watch out for while you are in Bali. In some areas, monkeys own the place.
You may think they are cute, but they are still wild animals. Plus, they are smart. Monkeys, in Uluwatu Temple for example, are often caught stealing visitors’ belongings.
Do you think they need those purse, glasses, or sandals? No. They take those so that you will try to retrieve by giving them food. Clever, huh?
If you dare, come to their habitat: the Monkey Forest in Ubud. There are more of them. In fact, they are often seen outside the area. Watch out for them swinging from one tree to another just above your head.
