1.H.R. Giger Museum Bar, Gruyères, Switzerland
We start our best bar designs journey with the H.R. Giger Museum Bar, in Switzerland.
The amazing place is a bar themed and modelled by the Swiss artist H. R. Giger.
The Museum Bar opened in 2003, and it’s not the only bar the designer created. The first bar was set in Tokyo and opened in the late 1980s, the H.R. Giger Bar in Chur opened in 1992, while the one based at The Limelight in New York was shut down.
The bar’s design is cavernous, with a skeletal structure and it gives you the feeling like you are in another world, a prehistoric one.
